This route can either be done as a both-ways walk, or on Mondays to Fridays, as a bus-out or bus-back option using the 668 towards Street. This bus departs from outside Tesco in the centre of Cheddar shortly after 10am and again shortly after 1pm. Journey time to Wedmore is about 15 minutes, where you alight in The Borough in the centre
of the village. Wedmore has several pubs and cafes, a village store and a number of artisan shops, plus a 15th century church. Along the route there is the option to climb Nyland Hill (50m) for all round views of the Cheddar Valley.
