Our committee has created a number of walks of varying grades and lengths. Some of these are well known local walks such as the tour of the top of the Gorge, others which will take you to lesser-known corners of the village, some which go around our local nature reserves and yet more which will take you out on to the beginnings of the Somerset Levels from where you can look back at the Mendip Hills.

WINTER WALKING – MUD WARNING
Please note that walks other than 1, 3, 4, and 8 take you along various rural tracks and paths, some sections of which can get really wet and muddy in winter months. If you are doing a winter walk after a period of rain please be prepared for wide and deep puddles and long stretches of deep or slippery mud. Walking poles and proper walking boots will be essential.

Parking is available close to the start of all walks – there is paid or free street parking in the village centre, free parking at Black Rock and at Sharpham Road for the reservoir walk, and also free parking in the Gorge east of The Pinnacles.
